CANCELLED - IDPA Championship Gun Competition
Another fine example of not thinking about the consequences of their actions...
Reported today at www.thegatewaypundit.com, the Rocky Mountain Western States Regional IDPA championship gun competition scheduled for July 4-6 in Montrose, CO, has been cancelled due to the risk of law abiding gun owners being in violation of new gun laws. This follows the cancellation of the Ruger Rimfire Challenge, which was also scheduled to be held in Colorado. Competitors from around the world would have attended these events and brought much-needed $$$ to small Colorado communities in terms of tax revenue, a boost to hotels, restaurants, etc.
I wonder if the politician are NOW seeing the impact of the legislation they allowed - nah, can't give them that much credit... ::heavy sigh:::
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Ladies shoot FREE on April 13th
"Annie Get Your Gun" free ladies' shoot at Cheyenne Mountain Shooting Complex is April 13
The Cheyenne Mountain Shooting Complex will supply you with an Empty Chamber Indicator (ECI) to use while you are at the Range at no charge.
This is a photo of the type of target frames (TARGET NOT INCLUDED) which are used at the Cheyenne Mountain Shooting Complex. They fit into a pair of 'U' brackets permanently fixed into the ground. You can build your own very easily. They are constructed using 1" x 4" lumber planks. In order to fit into the 'U' brackets, the outside dimension must be exactly 27", outside edge to outside edge. The height can be as tall as you want (the one shown here is 6'6" tall.) If you do not want to build your own target frame, CMSC will sell you a FRAME for $6.00
Something to know about CMSC:

Hello world...
Welcome to our blog - besides our schedule of events you can find "Tips & Tricks" that will help support our mission.
How many people can say they shoot with their PASTOR...
It looks like he is chasing me down, but in reality he had this INSANE idea to run from station to station UPHILL, he's just timing me (notice how my finger is OFF the trigger, and muzzle pointed safely down range - LOL)
Every girl should have a PINK plinker, well I guess not every girl.
My girlfriend wants hers in ZOMBIE green, that would be a suitable substitute :D
